About the Role

We’re hiring a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant (CPA Preferred) to manage day-to-day accounting activities and support accurate and timely financial operations. In this full time, remote role, you will be employed permanently by K-3 Consulting, enjoying full employment stability and benefits, while being fully dedicated to a long-term project with our premium partner client. You will operate as an integrated member of the client's internal team, working directly under their Head of Accounting who will manage your day-to-day responsibilities, workflows, and priorities.

This is an ideal opportunity for an organized, proactive professional who is comfortable balancing daily transactional tasks with high-level reporting while maintaining a high degree of accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day accounting activities and financial transactions.
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Record, review, and reconcile financial transactions.
- Prepare and maintain accurate accounting records and documentation.
- Assist with monthly closing activities and account reconciliations.
- Work with Sage Intacct for accounting and financial management activities.
- Use Bill.com for invoice processing and payment-related activities.
- Review invoices, transactions, and financial records for accuracy.




- Identify discrepancies and coordinate their timely resolution.
- Prepare financial reports and accounting-related documentation as required.
- Maintain organized financial records and supporting documentation.
- Ensure accounting activities are completed accurately and within established timelines.
- Work efficiently within Google Workspace and Microsoft Suite.
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and workflows.
- Communicate effectively with relevant stakeholders regarding accounting requirements.

Qualifications

- CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
- Additional accounting, finance, or related certifications are a plus.
- 2–4 years of prior experience in accounting or a similar role.
- Prior experience or working knowledge of Sage Intacct and Bill.com.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling multiple priorities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage deadlines and deliver high-quality work consistently.
- Ability to provide at least 6 hours of overlap with Client work hours (US Central time).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
- Ability to multitask and work independently in a remote environment.
- Written language fluency in English
- Ability to work US hours (up to 5 AM IST)
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
