Senior Accountant

Location: Sivakasi / Virudhunagar

Salary: 16000-19000

We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Senior Accountant to independently handle accounting, taxation, compliance, and financial reporting activities.

Requirements

- Minimum 7 years of relevant accounting experience; candidates with significantly more experience will be preferred.
- Candidates with experience working under a Chartered Accountant / CA firm or with exposure to professional accounting and audit practices are preferred.
- Candidates who have pursued CA / CA Intermediate or have equivalent practical knowledge and expertise are preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Tally, GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliance.
- Experience in finalization of accounts, preparation of financial statements, and audit support.
- Robust understanding of GST returns, reconciliations,



input tax credit, TDS returns, and tax compliance.
- Ability to prepare and review Profit & Loss Account, Balance Sheet, Trial Balance, and Cash Flow statements.
- Experience in bank reconciliation, ledger scrutiny, accounts payable/receivable, provisions, accruals, and month-end/year-end closing.
- Ability to identify and rectify accounting discrepancies and reconciliation issues.
- Experience coordinating with auditors, CA firms, banks, tax authorities, and other statutory authorities.
- Good understanding of accounting standards and statutory requirements.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide meaningful inputs to management.
- Good command of MS Excel and accounting software.
