Avaaruha Private Limited is looking for an experienced and responsible Senior Accountant to manage the day-to-day accounting, statutory compliance, financial controls, and reporting requirements of our growing travel business.

The ideal candidate should have solid practical experience in GST, TDS, payroll, reconciliations, statutory filings, cash-flow management, and financial reporting. Experience in a travel agency, tourism company, or service-sector business will be an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage complete day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping
- Maintain purchase, sales, expense, receipt, and payment entries
- GST accounting, reconciliation, and return filing
- TDS calculation, deduction, reconciliation, and filing
- Handle payroll, salary processing, EPF/ESI and related compliance
- Bank and payment-gateway reconciliation
- Supplier/vendor account reconciliation and payment tracking
- Customer receivables and outstanding follow-up
- Monitor cash flow and prepare fund-position reports
- Maintain proper records of advances, refunds, cancellations, and supplier settlements
- Prepare monthly P&L;, Balance Sheet, MIS and management reports
- Coordinate with CA/auditors for statutory filings, taxation, and annual accounts




- Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with company accounting procedures
- Support management with budgeting, cost control, and financial analysis
- Establish and maintain strong internal financial controls

Candidate Requirements Experience: 37 years in Accounting / Finance

Qualification: B.Com / M.Com / MBA Finance or equivalent

Candidates should have

- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS and Indian accounting practices
- Practical experience with accounting software such as Tally/Zoho Books
- Good knowledge of MS Excel
- Experience in bank and vendor reconciliation
- Understanding of payroll and statutory compliance
- Ability to independently manage company accounts
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- High level of accuracy, responsibility, and confidentiality

Travel industry experience is preferred but not mandatory.

Preferred Candidate

We are particularly looking for someone who can take ownership of the accounts function, rather than only performing data entry. The candidate should be capable of monitoring financial transactions, identifying discrepancies, maintaining compliance, and providing accurate financial information to management.
