Role Description The Senior Accountant is a full-time, in office role based in Ahmedabad, responsible for overseeing day-to-day financial operations and ensuring accurate, compliant accounting practices. This role includes managing general ledger entries, preparing financial statements, monitoring accounts payable and receivable, and performing bank reconciliations.

Accountant will support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, while ensuring adherence to local regulations and company policies. Day-to-day responsibilities also involve coordinating with internal teams and external auditors, improving financial processes,



and providing financial insights to support management decisions. The role requires attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, design-focused business environment.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards (e.g., GAAP/Ind AS), including proficiency in general ledger management, financial reporting, and reconciliations.
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and financial analysis to support business planning and decision-making.
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems, along with advanced skills in MS Excel and other financial tools.
- Understanding of tax regulations, compliance requirements, and audit processes, with experience coordinating with auditors and regulatory authorities.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams and present financial information clearly.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (such as CA, CMA, or CPA equivalent) are an advantage.
- Relevant experience in a similar senior accounting role; experience within design, interiors, or project-based businesses is beneficial.
