Job Summary

Adam Design Studio LLP is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant with strong accounting knowledge and preferably prior experience in the interior design, construction, or related industry. The candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, project-related financial records, payments, collections, payroll, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day accounting activities and maintain accurate financial records.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable, including vendor bills and client payments.
- Maintain project-wise accounts, expenses, purchases, and payment records.
- Prepare and verify quotations, invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, and purchase bills.
- Track client advances, outstanding payments, and project collections.
- Monitor vendor payments and maintain proper supplier accounts.
- Coordinate with the Sales, Purchase, Estimation, and Project/Site Teams regarding financial transactions.
- Verify purchase bills, material invoices, labour payments, and project expenses.
- Maintain cash book, bank book, petty cash, and daily transaction records.
- Perform bank reconciliation and regular ledger reconciliation.
- Handle payroll processing, salary calculations, deductions, advances, and employee settlements.
- Maintain records related to GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements and coordinate with auditors/consultants when required.
- Prepare monthly financial reports and management statements.
- Monitor outstanding receivables and payables and provide regular updates to management.
- Assist in budgeting, expense control, and project cost monitoring.
- Ensure proper documentation and filing of all accounting and financial records.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Identify accounting discrepancies and ensure timely correction.
- Maintain confidentiality of company financial information and business data.





Industry-Specific Responsibilities
- Maintain project-wise income and expense tracking.
- Monitor project budgets against actual expenses.
- Verify material purchases and labour expenses against project requirements.
- Track client payment stages such as token advance, advance payment, delivery payment, and final/handover payment.
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely submission of bills, expenses, and payment requirements.
- Monitor project profitability and highlight major cost variations to management.

Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Experience in an interior design, construction, architecture, or project-based company is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial procedures.
- Experience with Tally/accounting software and MS Excel.
- Good knowledge of GST, TDS, payroll, bank reconciliation, and statutory compliance.
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Positive communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple financial activities and meet deadlines.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
