About the Role

German Square is looking for an experienced and result-oriented Senior Academic Counsellor to guide prospective students in choosing suitable German language courses and career pathways. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, counselling ability, and experience in student admissions or education sales.

Key Responsibilities

- Counsel prospective students regarding German language courses, levels, fees, schedules, and learning pathways.
- Understand students’ academic and career goals and recommend suitable programs.
- Handle enquiries through calls, WhatsApp, social media, and walk-ins.
- Follow up with leads and convert enquiries into admissions.
- Maintain accurate records of counselling activities, follow-ups, and admissions.
- Achieve assigned admission and conversion targets.
- Support and guide junior academic counsellors.
- Coordinate with the academic and management teams for smooth student onboarding.




- Address student queries professionally and ensure a positive admission experience.
- Prepare regular reports on leads, conversions, follow-ups, and admission performance.

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in academic counselling, education sales, student admissions, or a related field.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Solid counselling, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle targets and work in a performance-driven environment.
- Positive knowledge of MS Office/Google Workspace and CRM tools.
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
- Experience in the language-training or overseas education sector will be an advantage.
