CBSE Senior Secondary English Teacher

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Senior Secondary English Teacher to teach CBSE Classes IX & XII. The candidate should have strong command of English language and literature, excellent communication skills, and experience in preparing students for CBSE Board Examinations.

Key Responsibilities

- Teach English Language & Literature for CBSE Classes IX & XII as per the CBSE curriculum.
- Prepare and deliver engaging, student-centred lesson plans.
- Develop students' reading, writing, speaking, listening, grammar, and comprehension skills.
- Prepare students for CBSE Board Examinations through structured academic planning and regular assessments.
- Design worksheets, assignments, question papers, projects, and other learning resources.
- Conduct regular tests, assessments, remedial sessions, and enrichment activities.
- Develop students' critical thinking, analytical skills, creative writing, and communication abilities.
- Teach prescribed NCERT English textbooks, literature, poetry, prose, and supplementary reading.
- Provide constructive feedback and monitor individual student progress.
- Use digital tools, technology-enabled learning, and innovative teaching methodologies.
- Maintain academic records and student performance reports.
- Collaborate with parents, coordinators, and colleagues regarding student progress.
- Support differentiated learning and students with varying academic abilities.
- Participate in departmental meetings, school events, professional development,



and academic activities.

Required Qualification
- Master's Degree in English / English Literature.
- B.Ed. is mandatory/preferred as per school requirements.
- Strong knowledge of the CBSE Senior Secondary English curriculum.
- Relevant teaching experience with CBSE Classes IX & XII.
