Role Description The Search Engine Optimization Trainee role is a full-time, on-site position based in Kakori. The trainee will support the SEO team in improving website visibility and search rankings through tasks such as keyword research, on-page optimization, link building, and basic SEO audits. Daily responsibilities include monitoring website performance, assisting with web analytics reports, and implementing SEO recommendations under guidance from senior team members.





The role also involves collaborating with designers and developers to ensure SEO best practices are applied across content and website structures, documenting findings, and staying updated on search engine trends and guidelines. This position is designed to help the trainee develop practical skills and grow into a more advanced SEO role over time.

Qualifications

- Ability to perform keyword research and basic on-page SEO optimization, including meta tags, headings, and content structuring.
- Familiarity with SEO audits to identify technical and content-related issues affecting search performance.
- Basic understanding of link building strategies and ethical off-page SEO practices.
- Knowledge of web analytics tools to track traffic, user behavior, and campaign performance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Comfort working with websites and content management systems; basic HTML/CSS knowledge is an advantage.
- Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in an in office team setting.
- Relevant coursework, certification, or degree in Marketing, IT, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- Willingness to learn, adapt to new tools and techniques, and stay current with SEO best practices and search engine updates.
