Summary

We are seeking an experienced Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our IT Services team. In this pivotal role, you will bridge the gap between development and quality assurance, ensuring the delivery of robust, high-performance software solutions. You will be instrumental in designing and implementing comprehensive testing strategies that align with our Agile/Scrum methodologies. This position demands a professional who can not only identify defects but also contribute to the architectural integrity of our applications through advanced automation and rigorous analysis, ultimately driving product reliability and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

- Design and execute manual test cases alongside automated scripts to validate software functionality and performance.
- Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks using tools such as Selenium or Playwright to enhance test coverage and efficiency.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate continuous testing pipelines within the Jenkins environment.
- Conduct thorough debugging and root cause analysis to resolve complex issues identified during the testing lifecycle.
- Perform performance testing to ensure systems meet scalability and speed requirements under various load conditions.




- Validate data integrity and system behavior by interacting with REST APIs.
- Utilize Git for version control and manage code repositories effectively throughout the development cycle.
- Adhere to Agile/Scrum principles, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Leverage programming skills in Java or Python to create scalable test automation solutions.

Requirements

Requirements:

- Minimum of 6 to 9 years of professional experience in software testing and development.
- Proven expertise in both manual and automated testing methodologies.
- Robust proficiency in testing REST APIs and understanding of web services architecture.
- Hands-on experience with version control systems, specifically Git.
- Demonstrated ability to configure and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
- Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum frameworks and their application in software delivery.
- Advanced skills in debugging techniques and conducting deep-dive root cause analysis.
- Experience in executing performance testing to evaluate system stability and responsiveness.
- Proficiency in developing test automation frameworks using Selenium or Playwright.
- Strong programming background in Java or Python for scripting and framework development.
