Role Overview

We are looking for a strong Software Development Engineer 2 – Backend with excellent problem-solving skills and hands-on experience building scalable, production-grade backend systems.

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Go, Python, or similar backend technologies, along with experience working on system design, APIs, databases, and technically challenging product problems.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs

- Build reliable and high-performance production systems

- Work extensively with Go, Python, or similar backend technologies

- Own backend features and services from design to deployment

- Participate in system design and architecture discussions

- Solve complex engineering and product problems

- Optimize backend systems for performance, scalability, and reliability

- Debug and resolve complex production issues

- Collaborate with Product, Frontend, DevOps, and other engineering teams

- Conduct code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices

- Mentor and guide junior engineers where required

Must-Have Requirements
- 2–4 years of software development experience

- Strong hands-on experience in backend engineering

- Strong proficiency in Go, Python, or a similar programming language

- Excellent problem-solving and coding skills





- Strong understanding of Data Structures & Algorithms

- Positive understanding of system design and backend architecture

- Experience building and maintaining production-grade systems

- Strong understanding of REST APIs, databases, and scalable backend services

- Experience working in a product-based company or startup

Good to Have
- Microservices architecture

- Distributed systems

- Kafka / event-driven architecture

- Redis

- SQL / NoSQL databases

- AWS / GCP / Azure

- Docker / Kubernetes

- CI/CD

- AI/ML / GenAI integrations

- Experience with high-traffic or high-volume systems
