Designation | Scrum Master - OQL OQP Program Qualification | BE or B.Tech with certifications in Agile PO or Scrum Experience (in years) | 6 | The Associate Product Owner supports the Product Owner in defining, developing, releasing, and continuously improving a practice-based product comprising methods, processes, digital tools, templates, guidance, learning content, and adoption mechanisms.

The role should help ensure that: The practice solves a genuine user or business problem. The digital tool supports the intended workflow. Digital content explains the practice clearly. Releases are prioritized according to value and readiness. Users progressively move from awareness to understanding, trial, adoption, and sustained application. Feedback and usage data are converted into product improvements.

The Product

Owner remains accountable for product value and effective backlog management, including communicating the Product Goal, creating and ordering backlog items, and ensuring that the backlog is transparent and understood. Supporting work may be delegated to an Associate Product Owner, but accountability stays with the Product Owner.

Skill Set

Required | Product and Practice Management Understand the practice vision, users, value and expected outcomes; support the product roadmap, release scope and alignment between the practice, tool and content.



Backlog and Requirements Management Gather needs, map workflows and business rules, write user stories and enablers, define measurable acceptance criteria, refine backlog items and maintain traceability.

Digital Tool Delivery

Work effectively with development and UX teams; review prototypes, clarify functionality, coordinate demonstrations, support defect resolution, user acceptance testing and release readiness.

Digital

Content and Learning Plan and coordinate awareness messages, quick guides, FAQs, videos, webinars, templates, examples and role-based learning content; ensure content remains consistent with the released practice and tool. Change and Progressive Adoption Segment audiences and guide users through awareness, understanding, trial, adoption and reinforcement; support pilots, communications, training, champion networks and resistance management.

Stakeholder Engagement

Facilitate workshops, interviews and reviews; communicate complex practices simply; manage expectations and coordinate subject-matter experts, users, developers, quality teams and leaders. Quality and Acceptance Apply the hierarchy Quality Objective Quality Task Acceptance Criteria; verify completeness, evidence, usability and alignment across the practice, digital tool and adoption package. Metrics and Continuous Improvement Define adoption and outcome indicators, analyse tool usage and feedback, identify improvement opportunities and recommend backlog priorities based on value, risk and evidence.
