About the Role

We are looking for a creative and skilled Script Writer to develop engaging scripts for our digital video content.

The ideal candidate should have strong storytelling ability, excellent writing skills and an understanding of how to structure content for video audiences. The writer should be able to take a brief or topic and turn it into a clear, engaging and audience-friendly script.

Key Responsibilities

· Write engaging scripts for digital video content based on briefs provided by the team.

· Develop strong introductions and hooks to capture audience attention.

· Structure scripts with a clear flow, narrative and conclusion.

· Convert ideas, topics and information into compelling video stories.

· Adapt writing style according to the channel, audience and content format.

· Write scripts that sound natural when delivered by a presenter or voice-over artist.

· Conduct basic research where required to understand the assigned topic.

· Verify important facts and information before incorporating them into scripts.

· Incorporate feedback from the content and production team.

· Revise and refine scripts based on feedback.

· Ensure scripts are original, engaging and suitable for the intended audience.

· Meet agreed content schedules and deadlines.

Preferred Experience

Candidates with experience in any of the following areas will be considered:

· YouTube Script Writing

· Digital Content Writing

· Video Script Writing

· Copywriting

· Media / Entertainment Content

· Podcast or Voice-over Script Writing

· Storytelling

Previous experience writing scripts for YouTube or other digital platforms will be an advantage.

Types of Content The writer may be required to work on different content formats depending on the channel and assigned brief, including:

· Long-form YouTube videos

· Short-form videos / Shorts

· Explainer videos

· Informational content

· Story-based content

· Voice-over scripts

· Presenter-led videos The exact content category will be assigned based on the requirements of the channel/project.

Script Requirements A good script should:

· Have a strong opening.

· Maintain audience interest throughout.

· Have a logical and easy-to-follow structure.

· Use clear and natural language.

· Be appropriate for the intended audience.

· Be written for spoken delivery rather than simply reading like an article.

· Include relevant information and supporting details where required.

· Follow the content brief and channel guidelines.

Trial / Selection Process

Shortlisted candidates may be required to complete a paid writing trial.

The candidate will receive a topic/brief from the team and will be asked to prepare a script within the specified timeline.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
