We are looking for a creative and sharp Social Media Scriptwriter who can turn ideas, trends, information, and everyday observations into engaging short-form content.

The role will primarily involve writing scripts for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, promotional videos, educational content, brand campaigns, and other social media formats. The ideal candidate understands how people consume content online and knows how to capture attention within the first few seconds.

Key Responsibilities

- Write engaging scripts for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and other short-form videos.
- Develop solid hooks, storytelling structures, punchlines and CTAs that improve audience retention.
- Convert complex or information-heavy topics into simple, conversational and engaging scripts.
- Write scripts for educational, promotional, informative and trend-based content.
- Research trending topics, formats, memes and conversations relevant to the target audience.
- Brainstorm video concepts and content series with the social media and creative teams.
- Adapt scripts according to different speakers, faculty members, creators and brand personalities.
- Write captions, video headlines and supporting social media copy when required.
- Work closely with video editors, designers and the social media team to ensure the final output matches the original concept.




- Review content performance and continuously improve scripts based on engagement, retention and audience response.
- Maintain consistency in the brand's tone, messaging and positioning.

What We’re Looking For
- Strong command of English with natural conversational writing skills.
- Excellent understanding of Instagram, YouTube and short-form content.
- Ability to write scroll-stopping hooks and concise, high-retention scripts.
- Strong storytelling, research and creative-thinking abilities.
- Awareness of current social media trends and internet culture.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver scripts within tight timelines.
- Understanding of the UPSC/competitive examination or education space will be an added advantage.

Preferred Experience 1–3 years of experience in scriptwriting, social media content, copywriting, digital media or a similar creative role.

Freshers with an exceptional portfolio and a strong understanding of social media content may also be considered.

Application Requirement

Candidates should share 3–5 samples of scripts, Reels, Shorts or other social media content they have written.
