We are looking for a creative, adaptable Scriptwriter Intern to write compelling scripts for [Reels/Shorts, YouTube videos, promo content]. This 3-month probationary role offers hands-on production experience, regular creative mentorship, and a direct path to a full-time Junior Writer position based on performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Ideation: Pitch engaging hooks, story concepts, and video angles weekly.
- Drafting: Write clean, structured scripts (AV format / dialogue / visual cues) tailored to our audience.
- Research: Fact-check topics and analyze platform trends to inform storytelling.
- Revisions: Collaborate with editors and creative leads, implementing feedback quickly.
Requirements
- Robust portfolio or 2–3 writing samples (video scripts, sketches, or spec screenplays).
- Good grasp of pacing, narrative hooks, and audience engagement.
- Openness to feedback and ability to hit tight turnaround deadlines.
- Background in Media, Film, English, Mass Communication, or equivalent self-taught experience.
