Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end SCM and procurement activities for plant operations.

- Develop and manage suppliers for mechanical, engineering and manufacturing components.

- Source materials as per project and production requirements.

- Float RFQs, evaluate quotations and conduct techno-commercial negotiations.

- Vendor development, qualification and performance monitoring.

- Ensure timely material availability as per production/project schedules.

- Coordinate with Production, Engineering, Quality, Stores and Finance teams.

- Track purchase orders, delivery schedules and material shortages.

- Develop alternate sources and support cost optimization.

- Monitor supplier quality, delivery and commercial performance.

- Prepare SCM MIS, procurement reports and supplier performance reports.

- Handle critical and strategic procurement requirements.





- Ensure compliance with company procurement processes and documentation.

Candidate Profile

- 7+ years of relevant experience in SCM / Procurement.

- Mechanical Engineering background mandatory.

- Experience in Heavy Engineering / Manufacturing is strongly preferred.

- Strong experience in vendor development, sourcing and negotiations.

- Good understanding of mechanical components, engineering materials and manufacturing processes.

- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

- Ability to independently manage suppliers and procurement activities.

- Positive analytical, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
