Role & responsibilities :

- Performing routine/ specialized test within TAT as per SOP.
- Identifying the problem specimens and escalating to the Section In charge / Head.
- Conduct quality control of the test parameters on a daily basis To analyze internal and external quality assurance specimen/ samples.
- To check daily instrument maintenance & trouble shooting of minor instrument problems.
- To maintain records of all reports as per QA guidelines. Maintain proper storage of specimens/ samples as per SOP.
- Observing laboratory safety precautions in handling clinical specimens and running of tests.
- Abnormal findings / test conditions to be escalated. Critical call-outs to attending Consultant or staff.




- Ensure that all safety guidelines are followed strictly at all times and maintain a clean and orderly workplace Perform maintenance of the laboratory equipment as per protocols Cleaning, sterilizing, maintaining, and calibrating laboratory equipment
- . Validate the results and release for Pathologists approval on completion of analysis
- Maintain the documentation as defined in the standard operating procedures Discard all expired reagents as per defined protocol
