: The School Counsellor will play a role as a student counsellor. The ideal candidate will inspire students to explore human behaviour, mental processes, and emotional intelligence while fostering a safe and supportive environment that promotes well-being. The teacher will support them through counselling interventions that enhance their social, emotional, and academic development.

Key Responsibilities:

· Assess student learning through a range of formative and summative methods, providing constructive feedback to enhance understanding and performance.

· Conduct individual and group counselling sessions for students to support emotional well-being, stress management, interpersonal relationships, and academic motivation.

· Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards in all counselling interactions.

· Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school leaders to identify and address students’ social-emotional needs and promote a positive school climate.

· Organize awareness sessions, workshops, and life skills programs related to mental health and emotional resilience.





· Participate in career development activities and contribute to the school’s holistic education initiatives.

Qualifications and Skills:Education:

· Master’s degree (Postgraduate) in Psychology (Applied, Clinical, or Counselling Psychology preferred).

Experience:

· Prior experience in counselling adolescents or working as a school counsellor is highly desirable.

Skills:

· Empathy, active listening, and strong interpersonal skills for effective counselling.

· Excellent communication and classroom management skills.

· Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive issues with care and professionalism.

· Strong organisational skills and the ability to hold counselling responsibilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
