Job Title: School Van Driver

Job Summary The School Van Driver will be responsible for safely transporting students between their homes and the school as per the assigned route and schedule. The driver must ensure student safety, punctuality, proper vehicle maintenance, and compliance with all traffic and school transportation rules.

Key Responsibilities

- Safely pick up and drop off students according to the assigned route and schedule.
- Drive the school van carefully and follow all traffic and road safety regulations.
- Maintain discipline and a protected environment inside the vehicle.
- Ensure students board and leave the van safely.
- Maintain accurate attendance/pick-up and drop-off records, where required.
- Check the vehicle regularly for fuel, tyres, brakes, lights, and other basic safety requirements.
- Report any vehicle defect, accident, or maintenance requirement immediately to the school administration.
- Keep the school van clean and in good condition.
- Follow the school's transportation policies and instructions.
- Maintain polite and respectful behaviour with students, parents, teachers, and school staff.




- Ensure that no unauthorized person travels in the school van.
- Handle emergency situations calmly and immediately inform the school authorities.
- Follow the assigned route and timing unless changes are approved by the school.

Eligibility & Requirements

- Valid driving licence appropriate for the school van/vehicle.
- Previous experience as a school van, school bus, commercial, or similar driver preferred.
- Good knowledge of local routes and traffic conditions.
- Clean driving record and responsible driving behaviour.
- Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to interact patiently and respectfully with children.
- Physically fit and capable of performing the duties associated with the role.
- Police verification and other required background checks should be completed as per school policy.

Pay: ₹9,000.00 - ₹10,000.00 per month
