Job Summary:

AP Guru is looking for an experienced and passionate English Test Prep Tutor to help students excel in the Digital SAT Reading & Writing, GRE Verbal, and GMAT Verbal/Verbal-related sections . The ideal candidate should have robust expertise in standardized test preparation, excellent communication skills, and experience teaching students in an online environment.

Candidates with experience teaching one or more of SAT, GRE, or GMAT are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct online SAT, GRE, and/or GMAT English and verbal preparation classes.
- Teach reading comprehension, grammar, vocabulary, rhetoric, critical reasoning, and test-taking strategies relevant to the applicable exams.
- Help students develop effective strategies for answering different question types and managing test time.
- Develop structured lesson plans and assign targeted practice work.
- Evaluate student performance, identify areas for improvement, and provide constructive feedback.
- Track student progress and support students in achieving their target scores.
- Conduct doubt-solving sessions and provide personalized academic support when required.




- Adapt teaching methods to students with different skill levels and learning needs.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree or higher in English, Education, Literature, Communications, or a related field .
- Prior experience teaching SAT, GRE, GMAT, or other standardized tests is strongly preferred.
- Strong command of English grammar, reading comprehension, vocabulary, writing, and critical reasoning.
- Strong understanding of standardized-test question types and strategies.
- Experience teaching online using Zoom or similar platforms .
- Excellent communication, presentation, and student-engagement skills.
- Ability to work with students from different academic backgrounds and age groups.

Job Details:

- Type: Full-Time, Remote
- Working Hours: 8 hours per day within 6:00–9:00 AM IST and 4:00–10:00 PM IST
- Schedule: 6 days per week
- Weekly Off: Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday

Preferred: Candidates who can teach multiple exams (SAT + GRE/GMAT) will be given preference.
