Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP WM Consultant with 8–10 years of experience in SAP Warehouse Management, preferably with strong exposure to manufacturing and logistics processes. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in SAP WM configuration, end-to-end implementations, warehouse operations, and integration with MM, SD, Production, and external WMS systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Gather business requirements and translate them into functional specifications and SAP WM configurations.
- Configure SAP WM including warehouse structure, storage types, putaway, picking, replenishment, transfer orders, physical inventory, and handling units.
- Manage inbound, outbound, and internal warehouse processes.
- Support warehouse inventory management and optimization initiatives.
- Work on integrations with MM, SD, and Production, including staging and backflush processes.
- Collaborate with architects, technical teams, and business stakeholders on solution design and implementation.
- Perform unit testing and system integration testing and resolve functional issues.
- Support RF frameworks, barcode scanning solutions, IDocs, and integration with external WMS systems.




- Prepare functional and end-user documentation and conduct training/knowledge-transfer sessions.
- Participate in workshops and collaborate with global stakeholders.

Required Skills
- SAP WM – 8 to 10 years
- Strong SAP WM configuration experience.
- 2–3 end-to-end SAP implementation experience.
- Warehouse structure, storage types, transfer orders, physical inventory and handling unit management.
- Inbound, outbound, picking, putaway, replenishment, and internal warehouse movements.
- Manufacturing and logistics process knowledge.
- RF framework and barcode scanning experience.
- IDocs and external WMS integration.
- Integration knowledge with SAP MM, SD and Production.
- Exposure to SAP ECC WM / SAP EWM / WM migration projects is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.

- Robust functional knowledge of SAP WM and warehouse processes.
- Ability to independently handle requirements, configuration, testing, and issue resolution.
- Comfortable working with global and cross-functional teams.
- Good communication skills and experience conducting workshops/training sessions.
