Title: SAP OpenText VIM Consultant

Location: India

Duration: 12+ Months (Contract)

Description

Configure, implement, and support OpenText Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) for SAP solutions, including invoice processing workflows, document management, and exception handling.

Design and maintain VIM workflows for end-to-end vendor invoice processing, including invoice capture, validation, approval, posting, and exception resolution.

Configure and support OCR and invoice capture processes, ensuring accurate extraction and validation of invoice data from various document formats.

Work closely with SAP FI/AP and MM teams to ensure seamless integration of VIM with SAP processes, including purchase orders, goods receipts, vendor master data, and financial postings.

Analyze and resolve VIM workflow issues, invoice processing errors, posting failures, and exceptions, ensuring timely resolution and minimal business disruption.

Configure VIM business rules, validation rules, approval workflows, routing logic, and exception handling based on business requirements.





Support VIM integrations with SAP ECC/SAP S/4HANA and other third-party systems involved in invoice processing and document management.

Monitor invoice processing and workflow performance, identify recurring issues, and recommend improvements to increase automation, straight-through processing, and operational efficiency.

Work with business stakeholders to gather requirements, translate business processes into functional and technical VIM solutions, and prepare functional specifications where required.

Support testing activities, including unit testing, integration testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), regression testing, and defect resolution.

Prepare and maintain VIM-related configuration documentation, process flows, test scenarios, and user documentation.

Provide production support for VIM, including incident analysis, root-cause identification, troubleshooting, and coordination with technical teams for complex issues.

Participate in VIM implementations, rollouts, upgrades, migrations, and enhancements, including cutover and go-live activities
