Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP TM Consultant to join our AMS support team. The candidate will be responsible for providing functional support, troubleshooting production issues, implementing enhancements, and ensuring the stability and continuous improvement of SAP TM solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide L2/L3 functional support for SAP TM applications in an AMS environment.
- Analyze and resolve incidents, service requests, and problem tickets within agreed SLA timelines.
- Work closely with business users to understand transportation and logistics requirements.
- Handle SAP TM processes including:
- Transportation Planning
- Freight Order / Freight Unit Management
- Transportation Cockpit
- Carrier Selection
- Freight Tendering
- Charge Calculation
- Settlement and Freight Cost Management
- Transportation Execution

- Configure and support SAP TM functionalities based on business requirements.
- Perform root-cause analysis for recurring production issues and implement permanent fixes.
- Support integration between SAP TM and SAP S/4HANA / ECC, as well as related logistics modules.
- Work on interfaces involving SD, MM, EWM, LE, FI/CO and external systems.
- Support master data configuration and troubleshooting.
- Prepare functional specifications for technical developments and enhancements.
- Coordinate with ABAP and integration teams for development, testing, and deployment.
- Conduct impact analysis, regression testing, and user acceptance testing support.
- Participate in incident, problem, and change management processes.




- Prepare and maintain functional documentation, SOPs, and knowledge articles.
- Participate in 24x7 support / rotational shifts when required.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within the AMS environment.

Required Technical Skills

- Strong hands-on experience in SAP TM.
- Good understanding of SAP TM architecture and end-to-end transportation processes.
- Experience in SAP TM on S/4HANA is preferred.
- Good knowledge of TM master data and configuration.
- Experience with transportation planning, execution, freight order management, tendering, and settlement.
- Good understanding of integration with SAP S/4HANA/ECC, EWM, SD and MM.
- Experience in handling production support issues and performing root-cause analysis.
- Exposure to SAP interfaces, APIs, IDocs, web services, or middleware is an advantage.
- Good understanding of ITIL-based AMS processes and SLA management.

Preferred Skills

- SAP TM certification is an added advantage.
- Experience working in global AMS/support projects.
- Exposure to SAP Fiori / S/4HANA.
- Experience with SAP TM enhancements and implementation/support projects.
- Robust analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and stakeholder-management skills.
