Role & responsibilities

Develop and maintain SAP BW 7.5 on HANA objects.

Work with: ADSO, Composite Provider ,InfoObjects, Data Sources, Transformations, DTPs, Process Chains.

Develop and maintain Bex Queries.

Extract data from SAP ECC/S/4HANA.

Work with ODP, SAPI and CDS Views.

Develop ABAP Start, End and Field routines.

Develop lookups and enhancement logic.

Work with HANA Calculation Views.

Troubleshoot data-load and reporting issues.

Perform data validation and reconciliation.

Support BW performance tuning.

S/4HANA 2021 2025 Upgrade

Participate in the BW impact analysis for the S/4HANA upgrade.

The candidate should be able to:

Check affected BW Data Sources.

Check extractor changes.

Check table and field changes.

Check CDS View changes.

Check ODP/delta extraction.

Identify impacted Transformations and DTPs.

Identify impacted ABAP routines.

Check Bex Query/report impact.





Perform before-and-after data validation.

Support regression testing.

Support post-upgrade BW validation.

BW Upgrade Support

Support BW 7.5 on HANA upgrade activities.

Validate Data Sources after upgrade.

Validate process chains.

Validate DTP loads.

Validate transformations.

Check RFC/source-system connections.

Troubleshoot failed loads.

Support production issues after upgrade.

Preferred candidate profile

5-10 years SAP BW experience.

SAP BW 7.5 on HANA.

ADSO and Composite Provider.

Transformations and DTPs.

Data Sources.

ODP/SAPI/CDS.

ABAP routines.

Bex Queries.

HANA knowledge.

S/4HANA integration.

Positive SQL and troubleshooting skills.
