SAP RTR Offshore Lead – S/4HANA Finance (Remote)

Location: Remote (India), with occasional office or onsite presence as needed

Compensation: Valuable Salary ₹ per month (gross)

Engagement: Immediate start. Long-term engagement

Working hours: Overlap with U.S. Eastern Time (11 PM IST) Hours may extend during cutover, go-live, or critical issues.

About the role

We are looking for an experienced SAP Record-to-Report (RTR) lead to head the offshore finance functional team on a global S/4HANA retail program. You will own offshore delivery end to end, from requirements through hypercare and AMS transition. You will work closely with U.S.-based finance, tax, treasury and controls stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

Team leadership and delivery

Lead the offshore SAP RTR functional team, including work allocation, coverage planning, deliverable reviews, and risk and escalation management.

Act as the primary offshore point of contact for onshore finance and program leadership.

Functional ownership

Provide functional leadership across:

General Ledger

AR and AP integration

Asset Accounting

FSCM

Bank Accounting, EBS and Cash Application

Retail Accounting and Intercompany

Financial Close, Tax and e-Invoicing

Drive the full lifecycle: requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, functional specifications, SIT, UAT, deployment, hypercare, change management and transition to AMS.

Integration coordination





Coordinate finance integrations with

OTC processes

E-commerce (Salesforce Commerce Cloud and OMS)

Retail POS

Vertex tax

Banking platforms, EDI and MFT

Workday

SAP DRC (e-invoicing)

External reporting and other retail finance systems

Stakeholder partnership

Work with Finance Controls, Retail Accounting, Tax, Treasury, AP, AR, Internal Controls, AMS and technical teams to deliver compliant, well-controlled solutions.

Required qualifications

7+ years of SAP Finance experience, with strong hands-on SAP S/4HANA Finance expertise.

3+ years in a lead role managing functional teams and deliverables.

Experience supporting global finance operations across regions and time zones.

Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Preferred qualifications

Retail or consumer-goods industry experience, especially retail accounting and POS integration.

Exposure to SAP DRC e-invoicing, Vertex and bank integrations (EBS, payment files).

At least one full-cycle S/4HANA implementation or rollout, including cutover and hypercare.

SAP S/4HANA Finance certification.
