Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP PPQM Track Lead to own and scale the Production Planning (PP) and Quality Management (QM) Track within the organization.

This role combines solution architecture leadership, delivery governance, Track development, competency building, and pre-sales advisory responsibilities.

The Track Lead will act as the design authority for Manufacturing and Quality processes across SAP S/4HANA programs and will play a key role in establishing industry-ready, cloud-aligned manufacturing solutions.

Key Responsibilities Solution Architecture & Delivery

- Own end-to-end SAP PP and QM solution architecture across SAP S/4HANA Public and Private Cloud programs.
- Act as final design authority for Manufacturing Planning, Execution, and Quality processes.
- Ensure scalable, compliant, and future-ready solutions aligned to SAP best Practices and Clean Core principles.
- Lead blueprinting workshops, fit-to-standard discussions, solution design, and realization governance.
- Oversee integration architecture across PP, QM, MM, SD, EWM, PM, and FI/CO.

• Drive digital manufacturing transformation using SAP best Tracks and industry reference models.

PPQM Track Ownership & Capability Development
- Build and scale the SAP PPQM Track within the organization.
- Define reference architectures,



accelerators, reusable templates, and industry-specific manufacturing solutions.
- Establish delivery standards, design governance frameworks, and quality review mechanisms.
- Mentor and develop PPQM consultants, solution leads, and track managers.
- Drive structured knowledge management and competency uplift initiatives.

• Build a solid pipeline of certified consultants across S/4HANA Manufacturing and Quality streams.

SAP GROW, RISE & AMS Capability Development
- Design cloud-ready manufacturing solutions aligned to GROW with SAP and RISE with SAP methodologies.
- Lead fit-to-standard transformation strategies for manufacturing clients.
- Ensure smooth transition from implementation to Hypercare and AMS.
- Define PPQM-specific AMS playbooks including production support, defect handling, batch traceability, and quality compliance.

• Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence in manufacturing support engagements.

Pre-Sales & Client Advisory
- Act as SAP PPQM Track Lead during RFP responses and solution defense sessions.
- Lead client discovery workshops and value articulation for digital manufacturing transformation.
- Provide effort estimations, solution strategy inputs, and risk assessments.
- Contribute to manufacturing-focused go-to-market strategies and industry positioning.





• Identify automation and Industry 4.0 opportunities within SAP S/4HANA manufacturing landscape.

Technical & Functional Expertise
- 12+ years of SAP experience with minimum 6+ years in architecture/Track leadership roles.
- Strong expertise in Production Planning (MTS, MTO, ETO), MRP, Demand Management, Capacity Planning.
- Experience in Production Orders, Process Orders (PP-PI), Repetitive Manufacturing.
- Expertise in Batch Management and Traceability.
- Strong knowledge of Quality Planning, Inspection Processing, Quality Notifications.
- Deep integration knowledge with MM, SD, EWM, PM, and FI/CO.

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Manufacturing, Embedded PP/DS, Fiori apps, and migration projects.

Governance, Rigor & Ownership
- Establish and enforce solution governance and architecture standards for manufacturing engagements.
- Own architectural risks, design deviations, and mitigation strategies.
- Ensure adherence to Clean Core, fit-to-standard, and SAP Activate methodologies.

• Demonstrate accountability for business outcomes and client value realization.

Education & Experience
- BE / BTech / MCA or equivalent qualification.
- SAP S/4HANA Manufacturing certification preferred.
- Experience in global rollouts and multi-country manufacturing programs.

• Domain exposure in Automotive, FMCG, Chemicals, Pharma, Engineering, Steel, and Industrial Manufacturing industries.

Certifications – Desired
- SAP Certified Application Associate – SAP S/4HANA Production Planning
- SAP Certified Application Associate – SAP S/4HANA Quality Management
- SAP Activate Certification

• Exposure to SAP Digital Manufacturing (DM) and PP/DS preferred
