Functional Consultant – SAP MM & Salesforce

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Functional Consultant with expertise in SAP MM and Salesforce, with solid knowledge of Procurement and Materials Management, preferably within the apparel industry.

The candidate should have experience across SAP implementations, rollouts, enhancements, and production support, along with exposure to integrating SAP with other applications. Strong stakeholder management, communication, and business process optimization skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle SAP MM configuration, implementation, support, and enhancements.
- Manage end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes.
- Gather business requirements and translate them into effective SAP functional solutions.
- Collaborate with business users, ABAP developers, integration teams, and other technical teams.
- Support SAP integrations with third-party applications.
- Manage testing, UAT, defect resolution, cutover, deployment, and hypercare activities.
- Troubleshoot functional and integration issues and perform root-cause analysis.
- Prepare functional specifications, test scenarios, and process documentation.
- Identify opportunities for procurement automation and continuous process improvement.

- PR, PO, RFQ, and Source Determination
- Vendor/Business Partner and Material Master
- Inventory Management, GR/GI, and Physical Inventory
- Invoice Verification and GR/IR
- PO Pricing and Condition Techniques
- Release Strategies/Workflows
- STO and Intercompany Procurement
- Subcontracting and Consignment
- SAP MM–FI Integration
- S/4HANA Procurement knowledge is preferred

Integration & Preferred Skills

- Understanding of IDocs, APIs, Web Services, Middleware, and file-based interfaces
- Experience with third-party application integrations
- Exposure to SAP–Salesforce integration is highly preferred
- Knowledge of Salesforce Procurement and digital procurement solutions is an advantage

Work Experience

Candidate Profile

- 5+ years of hands-on SAP MM consulting experience.
- Strong knowledge of P2P and procurement processes.
- Proven experience in delivering solutions from requirements gathering through go-live and post-production support.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional business and technical teams.
- Ability and willingness to work across different SAP modules and other platforms based on business requirements.
- Hindi language proficiency is mandatory.
