We are looking for a hands-on SAP MDK Lead with 7–11 years of experience in SAP mobility and enterprise application development. The candidate should have solid expertise in SAP Mobile Development Kit (MDK), SAP BTP, SAP Mobile Services, mobile application development, and solution architecture.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the design, development, deployment, and support of SAP mobile applications while remaining actively involved in technical implementation.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the end-to-end design and development of mobile applications using SAP MDK.
- Work hands-on with development, configuration, debugging, code reviews, and deployment.
- Design and implement mobile solutions integrated with SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, SAP BTP, OData services, and backend systems.
- Define application architecture, development standards, reusable components, and best practices.
- Develop and consume REST/OData services and integrate backend APIs.
- Implement online/offline data synchronization mechanisms.
- Manage application deployment, versioning, transport, and release activities across development, QA, and production environments.
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to MDK applications, device compatibility, integrations, and performance.
- Mentor junior developers and ensure adherence to coding standards and documentation practices.
- Participate in solution design, estimation, effort planning, and technical governance.
- Support SIT, UAT, hypercare, and production activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on security, authentication, certificates, and mobile device management.
- Communicate with clients and stakeholders regarding technical requirements and solutions.

Required Skills and Experience
- 7+ years of overall IT experience with significant experience in SAP mobility/mobile application development.




- Strong hands-on experience with SAP Mobile Development Kit (MDK).
- Strong experience with SAP Mobile Services.
- Good working knowledge of SAP BTP.
- Experience integrating mobile applications with SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, and backend systems.
- Strong understanding of OData and REST APIs.
- Good knowledge of JavaScript and JSON.
- Understanding of mobile UI development concepts.
- Experience with offline-enabled mobile applications and synchronization.
- Experience with mobile application deployment and configuration.
- Knowledge of mobile security, authentication mechanisms, certificates, and enterprise mobility practices.
- Experience in debugging, performance tuning, and resolving production issues.
- Ability to lead technical discussions and prepare solution design documents.
- Robust communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Hands-on experience with GitHub Copilot.
