Role Summary:

We are seeking an experienced SAP BASIS and HANA Consultant who will be responsible for managing and supporting our SAP environment, with a strong focus on HANA. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in SAP BASIS administration and expertise in HANA to ensure optimal performance and availability. This role involves configuration, support, and proactive monitoring of our SAP landscapes.

Key Responsibilities:

- SAP BASIS Administration: Manage and support SAP landscapes, ensuring system reliability, performance, and availability.

- SAP HANA Expertise: Configure, monitor, and support SAP HANA databases, including performance tuning, backup/recovery, and troubleshooting.

- System Installations & Upgrades: Execute SAP system installations, upgrades, and patches, adhering to best practices.

- User and Role Management: Administer users, roles, and authorizations to meet security compliance standards.

- Performance Tuning: Optimize system performance across SAP landscapes and HANA databases.

- System Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Proactively monitor SAP landscapes, identify and resolve issues, and ensure uptime.

- Backup & Recovery Management: Design and manage effective backup and recovery processes for SAP and HANA systems.





- System Refreshes & Client Copies: Execute system refreshes and client copies to meet testing and project requirements.

- Disaster Recovery Planning: Establish and maintain disaster recovery strategies for critical systems.

- Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate documentation of configurations, procedures, and system modifications to support audits.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Minimum of 6 years in SAP BASIS with deep knowledge of SAP architecture, infrastructure, and database management.

- 3-4 years of hands-on experience in SAP HANA, including installation, configuration, and administration.

- Strong experience with SAP system monitoring tools and techniques.

- Proficiency in system performance tuning, backup/recovery, and disaster recovery planning.

- Experience with SAP landscape design, upgrades, and patch management.

- Knowledge of SAP security administration, including roles, authorizations, and user management.

- Excellent problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to system management.

- Ability to work in a quick-paced environment with immediate availability.
