- Monitor overall health of all the SAP DB’s (Legacy and Hana)
o Space o Automated alerting o Performance o Disk space
- Respond to recent alerts o Research and reaction to thresholds hit
- Backup verification
- Support System refreshes mainly from production to Quality
- Participate in System upgrades/patches
- Engage in issues requiring performance (Ex. Sap standard reschedule)
- Performance analysis -Trends (sharing metrics/charts in required)
o SQL analysis for performance
- Research when problems are encountered
- Security roles within DB
- Participated in required in SOX requests
- Maintain DB documentation
- Table partitioning
- Hana Cockpit set and training of backup DBA’s
