Role Overview:The SAP Fiori/UI5 Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining SAP Fiori applications and SAP UI5 components to deliver intuitive, user-friendly interfaces for SAP systems. This role involves working closely with functional teams, UX designers, and backend developers to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance
Key Responsibilities:
- Application Development:
- Design and develop SAP Fiori applications using SAP UI5 framework, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- Implement responsive and adaptive UI designs aligned with SAP Fiori guidelines.
- Integration:
- Integrate Fiori/UI5 apps with SAP backend systems using OData services and Gateway.
- Testing & Debugging:
- Perform unit testing, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Collaboration:
- Work with UX designers to enhance usability and user experience.
- Coordinate with SAP functional consultants and ABAP developers for end-to-end solutions.
- Maintenance & Upgrades:
- Upgrade existing Fiori/UI5 applications and ensure compatibility with recent SAP releases.
- Documentation:
- Prepare technical specifications, design documents, and user guides.
- Innovation:
- Stay updated with SAP Fiori/UI5 best practices and emerging technologies.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of SAP UI5, Fiori design principles, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3.
- Experience with SAP Gateway and OData services.
- Familiarity with MVC architecture and SAP Web IDE or Business Application Studio.
- Additional Skills:
- Understanding of SAP architecture and integration patterns.
- Knowledge of Git, RESTful APIs, and Agile methodologies.
- Experience:
- 35 years of SAP Fiori/UI5 development experience for intermediate roles.
- 5–8 years for senior roles, including full-cycle implementations.
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Exposure to SAP BTP, CAPM, and cloud deployment.
- Knowledge of ABAP for backend integration.
- Experience with SAP ESS/MSS customization and Web Dynpro
