Role & responsibilities

- Design and develop end-to-end data solutions using SAP Datasphere.

- Develop Graphical Views, SQL Views, Data Flows, Replication Flows, and Transformation Flows.

- Design logical and physical data models for enterprise reporting and analytics.

- Develop reusable and scalable semantic models in SAP Datasphere.

- Integrate data from SAP S/4HANA, ECC, BW/4HANA and non-SAP systems.

- Work with Remote Tables, Replication, Data Federation and Delta Loads.

- Develop complex transformation logic using SQL/SQLScript.

- Configure and manage Datasphere Spaces, users, roles, security and data access controls.

- Perform data validation, reconciliation, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.

- Support integration of Datasphere with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and other reporting/BI tools.

- Participate in SAP BW/BW4HANA modernization and migration to Datasphere, including BW Bridge scenarios.

- Work with functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into appropriate data models and analytical solutions.

- Ensure data quality, governance, security, lineage, and appropriate access controls.

- Prepare technical specifications, data mappings, data models, and solution documentation.

- Participate in design reviews, code reviews, testing, deployment, and production support.





Preferred candidate profile

- 6+ years of experience in SAP BI/Data Warehousing/Data Analytics technologies.

- Strong hands-on experience with SAP Datasphere.

- Strong knowledge of Datasphere Data Builder.

- Experience developing:

- Graphical Views

- SQL Views

- Data Flows

- Replication Flows

- Transformation Flows

- Solid SQL and SQLScript skills.

- Strong understanding of data modeling and data warehousing concepts.

- Experience integrating SAP and non-SAP source systems.

- Hands-on experience with S/4HANA/ECC and CDS Views.

- Knowledge of Remote Tables, Federation, Replication and Delta mechanisms.

- Experience with Datasphere security, spaces, roles and data access controls.

- Good understanding of data extraction, transformation, loading, and performance optimization.

Good to Have

- Experience with SAP BW/4HANA and BW Bridge.

- SAP HANA modeling experience.

- Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).

- Knowledge of SAP Business Data Cloud.

- SAP BTP and Cloud Connector knowledge.

- Experience with Power BI or other enterprise BI platforms.

- Experience in SAP BI/Datasphere migration and modernization projects.

- Knowledge of data governance, data quality, and data lineage.
