Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP BASIS HANA Administrator with over 6 years of experience to join our dynamic IT team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the administration, configuration, maintenance, and support of our SAP HANA systems, ensuring their optimal performance and availability.

Key Responsibilities

SAP HANA Administration: Manage and maintain SAP HANA database systems, ensuring high availability, performance, and reliability.

System Configuration and Maintenance: Perform system installations, upgrades, patches, and configuration changes for SAP HANA and related components.

Performance Tuning and Optimization: Monitor and optimize system performance, troubleshoot performance issues, and implement necessary improvements.

Backup and Recovery: Develop and maintain backup and recovery procedures, ensuring data integrity and availability.

Security Management: Implement and manage security measures, including user administration, role-based access control, and compliance with security policies.

Monitoring and Alerting: Set up and maintain system monitoring and alerting tools to proactively identify and resolve issues.

Technical Support: Provide technical support for SAP HANA systems, including incident resolution, problem management, and root cause analysis.

Documentation:



Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, procedures, and best practices.

Collaboration: Work closely with other IT teams, developers, and business stakeholders to support projects and initiatives.

Qualifications

Experience: Minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience in SAP BASIS and HANA administration.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Technical Skills

Proficiency in SAP HANA database management and administration.

Robust knowledge of SAP BASIS administration, including system installation, configuration, and maintenance.

Experience with performance tuning and optimization of SAP HANA systems.

Familiarity with backup and recovery procedures for SAP HANA.

Understanding of SAP security concepts and user administration.

Experience with SAP HANA monitoring and alerting tools.
