Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP Ariba Consultant with strong hands-on expertise in SAP Ariba Supplier Lifecycle and Performance (SLP) and Ariba Upstream. The ideal candidate should have experience in SAP Ariba implementation, configuration, integration, enhancement, and production support, with good exposure to Ariba Sourcing and Ariba Contracts. The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, functional teams, and technical teams to deliver effective supplier management, strategic sourcing, and procurement solutions.

Responsibilities

- Implement, configure, and support SAP Ariba SLP and Ariba Upstream solutions.
- Manage supplier onboarding, registration, qualification, segmentation, evaluation, and supplier lifecycle processes.
- Configure and maintain Ariba SLP workflows, questionnaires, approval processes, supplier data, and supplier profiles.
- Work extensively on SAP Ariba Upstream processes, including supplier management and upstream procurement/sourcing activities.
- Work on Ariba Sourcing processes, including sourcing events, templates, auctions, bidding, and supplier participation.
- Provide functional support for Ariba Contracts and contract management processes.
- Understand and support integration between SAP Ariba and SAP S/4HANA / SAP ERP systems.
- Work with technical teams on SAP Ariba CIG (Cloud Integration Gateway) and integration-related issues.




- Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective SAP Ariba functional solutions.
- Prepare functional specifications, configuration documents, test cases, process flows, and user documentation.
- Conduct unit testing, integration testing, UAT, defect resolution, and production support.
- Coordinate with business stakeholders to understand procurement, supplier management, sourcing, and contracting requirements.
- Troubleshoot functional and integration issues and provide timely resolutions.
- Participate in end-to-end implementation, rollout, enhancement, and support projects.
- Provide knowledge transfer and functional support to end users and junior team members.

Mandatory Skills

- 4 7 years of relevant experience in SAP Ariba.
- Solid hands-on experience in SAP Ariba SLP (Supplier Lifecycle and Performance).
- Strong hands-on experience in SAP Ariba Upstream.
- Good understanding of Supplier Lifecycle and Performance processes.
- Experience in Supplier Onboarding, Registration, Qualification, Segmentation, and Supplier Management.
- Strong knowledge of SAP Ariba Sourcing.
- Good exposure to Ariba Contracts.
- Understanding of SAP Ariba integration with SAP S/4HANA / SAP ERP.
- Exposure to SAP Ariba CIG / integration concepts.




- Strong understanding of Procurement, Supplier Management, Sourcing, and P2P processes.
- Good analytical, communication, stakeholder-management, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

- SAP Ariba certification is an added advantage.
- Experience with Ariba Buying & Invoicing / Guided Buying.
- Knowledge of SAP MM and Procure-to-Pay processes.
- Experience working on end-to-end SAP Ariba implementation projects.
- Experience in production support and incident management.
- Knowledge of SAP Ariba APIs and integration technologies.
- Exposure to SAP Business Network / Ariba Network is an added advantage.

Education & Eligibility

- B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related technical discipline is preferred.
- Candidates with a strong technical/engineering background and relevant SAP Ariba experience may also be considered.
- Graduation in a relevant technical discipline is mandatory.

Role Requirements

The candidate should have a strong combination of SAP Ariba SLP + Upstream expertise, along with functional understanding of Sourcing, Contracts, Supplier Management, and Ariba integration.
