Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP Technical Developer with strong expertise in SAP Integration Suite (Cloud Integration / CPI) to support SAP integration and development activities. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in ABAP development, SAP interfaces, APIs, integration scenarios, and CPI-based integrations .

The candidate will work closely with functional teams, integration architects, and technical teams to design, develop, enhance, and support SAP ABAP and integration solutions.

Key Responsibilities





- Develop, enhance, and maintain SAP ABAP programs and technical solutions .
- Design and develop integrations using SAP Integration Suite - Cloud Integration (CPI) .
- Develop and support CPI iFlows for integrating SAP and non-SAP applications.
- Work on REST, SOAP, OData, IDoc, RFC, and HTTP-based integrations .
- Develop and enhance ABAP reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms, and workflows .
- Work with ABAP Objects, BAPIs, BADIs, User Exits, Enhancements, and Function Modules .
- Develop and consume APIs and web services for SAP integration requirements.
- Perform data mapping, transformation, routing, exception handling, and monitoring within CPI.
- Analyze integration failures and troubleshoot ABAP and CPI-related issues .
- Work with IDocs, RFCs, OData services, and other SAP integration technologies .
- Collaborate with functional consultants to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Prepare technical specifications, development documentation, and integration documentation.
- Conduct unit testing, integration testing, defect fixing, and production support activities.
- Participate in deployment, release, and post-production support activities.
- Ensure solutions follow SAP development and integration best practices.

Required Technical Skills SAP ABAP




- 5-7 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development .
- Strong knowledge of ABAP Objects / OO ABAP .
- Experience in Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows .
- Strong experience with BAPI, BADI, User Exits, Customer Exits, RFC, and Function Modules .
- Good understanding of IDocs and ALE .
- Experience with OData services / APIs .
- Strong debugging and performance optimization skills.

SAP Integration Suite / CPI
- Hands-on experience with SAP Integration Suite - Cloud Integration (CPI) .
- Experience in developing and maintaining CPI iFlows .
- Good understanding of message mapping, content modifiers, routers, filters, exception handling, and transformations .
- Experience with REST and SOAP APIs .
- Knowledge of JSON, XML, XPath, XSLT, and Groovy scripting .
- Experience in connecting SAP and third-party/non-SAP applications.
- Knowledge of authentication mechanisms such as Basic Authentication, OAuth, Certificates, and API-based authentication .
- Experience in monitoring and troubleshooting CPI integration flows.

Preferred Skills
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA .
- Knowledge of SAP BTP and Integration Suite .
- Experience with OData V2/V4 and API integration .
- Exposure to SAP API Management is an advantage.
- Experience working in Agile development environments .
- Good analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
