Position: SAP ABAP Developer

Location: Hyundai Pune Plant (Talegaon)

Department: IT / SAP (ABAP)

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP Developer to support and enhance SAP applications. The candidate will be responsible for developing, customizing, testing, and maintaining SAP ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, forms, and workflows while ensuring smooth SAP system operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain SAP ABAP programs, reports, enhancements, and interfaces.
- Design and develop Reports (ALV, Interactive Reports), Smart Forms, SAP Scripts, and Adobe Forms.
- Develop and support RFC, BAPI, BDC, IDoc, and other SAP integration objects.
- Analyze business requirements and provide technical solutions.
- Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning of ABAP programs.
- Support SAP MM, SD, PP, FI/CO, Security and other SAP modules as required also 3rd party application support.
- Coordinate with business users and functional consultants for requirement gathering and issue resolution.
- Prepare technical specifications and system documentation.




- Provide production support and resolve SAP incidents in a timely manner.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of SAP ABAP Programming.
- Experience in Reports, Enhancements, User Exits, BADI, BAPI, RFC, IDoc, Smart Forms, Interface programming with APIs and SAP Scripts.
- Knowledge of SAP Data Dictionary, Database Tables, and Performance Optimization.
- Experience with SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA,CDS,ODATA.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.

Qualification

- MCS, Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3 years - 5 years of experience in SAP ABAP development.
- Experience in a manufacturing setting will be preferred.

Preferred Skills

- Knowledge of SAP MM, PP, SD, or FI modules.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA migration, support and development.
- Understanding of MES and third-party system integrations.
