Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and organized Sample Coordinator / Sample Supervisor to manage the complete sample development process. The person will coordinate between the design, merchandising, sampling, production and other departments to ensure samples are developed and submitted on time as per buyer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate the complete sample development process from initial requirement to final approval.

Understand buyer requirements, tech packs, sketches, measurements and specifications.

Coordinate with designers, merchandisers, pattern masters, sample tailors and production teams.

Follow up on fabric, trims, accessories and other materials required for sampling.

Ensure samples are made according to design, measurements, construction and quality standards.

Monitor sample status and maintain a proper sample tracker.

Ensure samples are completed within the given T&A; / deadline.

Check samples before submission and identify any errors or required corrections.

Coordinate sample modifications based on buyer/merchandiser feedback.

Maintain records of sample submissions, approvals, comments and revisions.





Follow up continuously with the concerned departments to avoid delays.

Handle multiple styles/samples simultaneously and prioritize work according to deadlines.

Coordinate with the production team for approved sample handover.

Supervise and guide the sampling team, if required.

Resolve day-to-day sampling issues and escalate major issues to management.

Ensure proper communication between all departments involved in sample development.

Required Skills

Valuable knowledge of garment sampling and product development.

Understanding of fabric, trims, measurements, construction and finishing.

Good knowledge of tech packs and buyer specifications.

Strong follow-up and coordination skills.

Good knowledge of Excel / Google Sheets for sample tracking.

Ability to manage multiple samples and deadlines.

Good communication skills.

Team-handling and problem-solving ability.

Experience - 3-5 years

Experience in an export house / garment manufacturing company preferred only.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
