We're Hiring: Sampling & Pattern Development Coordinator | Bangalore

About the role

You'll own the sampling process from first pattern to approved sample. You'll be the link between our Design Director, pattern makers, cutters, samplers and production team, making sure every sample matches the design, fits well, and is ready for bulk production.

What you'll do

- Check patterns for completeness and accuracy: seams, notches, grainlines, measurements and markings
- Brief the cutting team on fabric direction, print and stripe alignment, placements and special cutting needs
- Supervise sample development from cutting through sewing and finishing
- Run fittings on models or dress forms, take fitting photos, and record clear feedback
- Turn fitting comments into pattern and construction corrections, working with pattern makers
- Control print, embroidery and embellishment placement
- Keep a clean, version-controlled system for all physical and digital patterns and samples
- Flag technical or production risks early and help make samples production-ready

Products you'll work on Clothing collections, instant and non-instant hijabs, hijab inners, prayer sets, accessories, seasonal drops,



collaborations and private-label projects.

What we're looking for

- 3+ years of experience in garment sampling, pattern development or technical design
- Solid knowledge of patterns, garment construction, cutting and fit
- Ability to read patterns, sketches, tech packs and measurement specs
- Sharp eye for pattern, cutting, sewing and placement errors
- Strong organisation, documentation and follow-up skills
- Clear communicator who can explain technical instructions to cutters and samplers
- Comfortable managing several samples at once under deadlines

Nice to have

- Hands-on pattern adjustment skills
- Experience with digital pattern software (e.g. [Gerber / Lectra / CLO / Optitex])
- Familiarity with modest wear, hijabs or inners
