Role Description This is a full-time, in office Salesperson role based in Chennai. The Salesperson will identify and approach prospective customers, present product offerings, and explain features, pricing, and benefits clearly and confidently.

Daily tasks include managing inquiries, following up on leads, maintaining relationships with existing clients, and achieving defined sales targets. The role involves preparing basic sales reports, updating customer records, coordinating with internal teams for order processing, and resolving customer issues promptly. The Salesperson is expected to represent the company professionally, support promotional activities,



and contribute ideas to improve sales performance and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with diverse customers.
- Proven ability or strong potential in negotiating, closing sales, and working towards monthly and quarterly targets.
- Basic numerical and analytical skills to understand pricing, margins, and simple sales reports.
- Good organizational and time-management skills, including handling multiple leads and follow-ups efficiently.
- Comfortable working on-site, engaging face-to-face with customers, and traveling locally within Chennai as required.
- Proficiency in English and local languages used in Chennai for effective customer interaction.
- Familiarity with MS Office or similar tools for maintaining records and preparing simple presentations or reports.
- Prior sales or customer-facing experience in trading, retail, or distribution is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Minimum educational qualification: high school diploma; a bachelor’s degree in business, commerce, or related fields is a plus.
- Self-motivated, professional attitude, and willingness to learn about products, market trends, and customer needs.
