We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Sales Officer to join our team in Kozhikode. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the sales of industrial air compressors and genuine spare parts. You will identify new business opportunities, build strong relationships with industrial B2B clients, and meet sales targets across the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development: Identify and develop recent business opportunities for compressors and spare parts around Calicut and neighbouring regions.
- Client Relationship Management: Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients, ensuring regular follow-ups for their spare parts and servicing needs.
- Sales Strategy & Execution: Present, promote, and sell products using solid arguments to prospective customers. Achieve agreed-upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule.
- Market Intelligence: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and supply-demand status to identify potential areas for growth.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer visits, and pipeline updates using internal reporting systems.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience:
1–3 years of experience in B2B sales, industrial sales, or field sales (experience specifically in compressors, pumps, or industrial machinery spare parts is highly preferred).
- Education: Diploma/Degree in any Science field or a related field.
- Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to build rapport with factory managers, purchase officers, and business owners.
- Travel: Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned territory (Calicut and surrounding areas). Must possess a valid two-wheeler/four-wheeler license and vehicle.
- Languages: Fluency in Malayalam and proficiency in English.
