Role Description This is a full-time, in office Sales Intern role based in Lucknow.

The Sales

Intern will support the sales team in identifying and approaching potential merchants, co-operative banks, and credit societies, and in explaining CGPEY’s payment and fintech solutions. Daily tasks include conducting market research, assisting in lead generation, participating in client meetings, preparing sales presentations, and maintaining accurate records of interactions in CRM or tracking tools. The role involves providing basic product demonstrations,



supporting customer onboarding, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure smooth implementation of services.

The Sales

Intern will also help gather customer feedback, contribute to process improvements, and participate in sales training sessions to build capabilities for future growth.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact effectively with merchants and financial institution partners.
- Candidates should possess foundational Sales and Sales Management skills to support lead generation, pipeline tracking, and achievement of sales targets.
- Candidates should possess the ability to assist in Training activities, including explaining product features and onboarding processes to new customers.
- Candidates should possess basic understanding of fintech or digital payments, with interest in QR, UPI, and merchant solutions.
- Candidates should possess good interpersonal skills, a proactive approach, and the ability to work on-site in a fast-paced setting.
- Enrollment in or completion of a degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office or Google Workspace and familiarity with CRM tools will be an added advantage.
