Makin’s Supermart is looking for a smart, confident and customer-friendly Sales Girl to assist customers and manage sales in our supermarket.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers in a polite and friendly manner.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable products.
- Handle sales in the cosmetics, personal care and other assigned sections.
- Explain product features, prices, offers and promotions to customers.
- Maintain proper display and arrangement of products.
- Ensure shelves are adequately stocked and products are neatly arranged.
- Check product expiry dates and report damaged or expired products.
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the sales area.
- Assist in inventory checking and stock management.
- Encourage customers to explore relevant products and offers.
- Handle basic customer queries and complaints professionally.
- Coordinate with the store manager regarding stock requirements and sales.
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail, cosmetics, beauty, supermarket or FMCG sales preferred.
- Good communication and customer-handling skills.
- Pleasant personality and confident approach.
- Basic knowledge of smartphones and billing/POS systems.
- Ability to explain products and interact comfortably with customers.
- Honest, punctual and hardworking.
- Freshers are welcome to apply if they have good communication skills.
Salary & Benefits
- ₹8,000 – ₹12,000 per month, depending on experience and skills.
