Role Description This is a full time, on-site Sales – Freight Forwarding role based in Panvel. The role involves identifying and developing new business opportunities in freight forwarding, managing relationships with existing customers, and providing tailored logistics solutions to meet client needs. The team member will prepare and present quotations, negotiate rates, and coordinate closely with operations to ensure timely execution of shipments.

Daily responsibilities include following up on leads, maintaining sales pipelines, handling customer inquiries, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.



The role also requires close collaboration with internal departments to resolve issues, monitor market trends, and support revenue growth targets.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of Freight Forwarding and Freight Transportation processes and industry practices.
- Experience in Forwarding and Export operations, including documentation and compliance for international shipments.
- Proven Customer Service skills, with the ability to manage client expectations and build long-term relationships.
- Ability to identify sales opportunities, meet targets, and negotiate effectively with customers and vendors.
- Familiarity with logistics pricing, Incoterms, and basic customs and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in English; additional regional languages are an advantage.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and follow-through.
- Prior experience in freight forwarding or logistics sales preferred; a relevant diploma or degree in logistics, business, or commerce is beneficial.
