Role Description The Sales Engineer role at Gupta Electric Company is a full time, on-site position based in New Delhi.

The Sales

Engineer will identify and develop new business opportunities, manage existing client accounts, and provide technical guidance on electric motors, switchgears, and EPC products. Daily responsibilities include preparing and delivering product presentations, understanding customer requirements, recommending suitable solutions, and coordinating with internal technical and operations teams to ensure timely delivery and support. The role also involves handling inquiries, preparing quotations, negotiating terms, and maintaining accurate sales records and forecasts.



Collaboration with team members to improve sales strategies and customer satisfaction is an integral part of the position.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Sales Engineering skills, with the ability to understand technical specifications and translate them into practical solutions.
- Candidates should possess Sales and Customer Service skills to build relationships, manage client expectations, and drive revenue growth.
- Candidates should possess Communication skills, including transparent verbal and written communication, for effective presentations and customer interactions.
- Candidates should possess Technical Support capabilities to assist customers with product selection, troubleshooting, and post-sales support.
- Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, along with experience in industrial or electrical product sales, are beneficial.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, negotiation skills, and proficiency with basic office and CRM software are advantageous.
