Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Engineer role based in the Greater Chennai Area.

The Sales

Engineer will collaborate with clients to understand technical and commercial requirements, prepare proposals and quotations, and present suitable engineering solutions aligned with project needs. Daily responsibilities include coordinating with internal project and engineering teams, providing technical support during pre- and post-sales activities, and conducting site visits as needed. The role involves maintaining relationships with existing clients, identifying new business opportunities, following up on leads, and supporting tender and bid processes.

The Sales





Engineer will also handle documentation, maintain accurate records in sales systems, and ensure that customer service and communication standards are consistently met.

Qualifications

- Solid Sales Engineering and Technical Support skills to interpret project requirements and recommend suitable construction solutions.
- Sales and Customer Service capabilities to manage client relationships, handle inquiries, and support the full sales cycle.
- Effective Communication skills, both verbal and written, to collaborate with clients, site teams, and internal stakeholders.
- Relevant academic background, such as a degree or diploma in engineering (civil, mechanical, or related field) or construction management.
- Experience in construction, contracting, or infrastructure projects, preferably in the Greater Chennai Area or similar markets.
- Ability to work on-site, travel to project locations when required, and adapt to field conditions and project timelines.
- Proficiency with basic office and documentation tools (e.g., MS Office, spreadsheets, presentation software) and familiarity with CRM or sales tracking systems is an advantage.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative approach to working with multidisciplinary project teams.
