Job Overview

We are seeking a energetic and result-oriented professional to lead our Suspended Powered Access Systems product line on a pan-India basis. The role involves business development, customer relationship management, sales coordination and ensuring smooth execution of orders with support from our branch, service and internal teams.

The position will involve regular travel across India for customer meetings and business development, along with coordination from the Kolkata office for execution, forecasting and other business activities.

The product line is supported by our manufacturing capabilities in India, with further opportunities for indigenisation. The Product Leader will coordinate with the OEM, design and internal manufacturing teams as required.

Key Responsibilities:

- Drive sales and business development for the product line across end users, EPCs and OEMs.
- Generate inquiries and develop business opportunities through customer meetings, follow-ups and market development.
- Handle customer discussions and coordinate with technical teams for suitable solutions and offers.
- Follow up on sales opportunities through negotiation and order conversion.
- Coordinate with service and internal teams to ensure timely installation, commissioning and servicing of the product.
- Work closely with the OEM design team and internal manufacturing team for product development and progressive indigenisation.
- Prepare and review monthly and quarterly sales forecasts, budgets and revenue plans.
- Track market developments, competition, pricing and new applications and identify opportunities for business growth.




- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers at plant, regional office and head office levels.
- Work closely with our branch network for lead generation, customer follow-up, account development and new business opportunities.
- Maintain proper records of leads, opportunities and their status.

Requirements & Qualifications:

- B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- 8–12 years in sales of industrial technical equipment to power generation or process industries.
- Sound understanding of power and process industries and their general purchase and procurement process.
- Ability to handle customer discussions, commercial negotiations and coordinate execution activities.
- Good communication skills in English and Hindi.
- Good customer relationship, networking and business development skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively across India.

Added Advantage:

- Experience with suspended access systems, scaffolding, hoists, lifting equipment or similar industrial equipment.
- Existing contacts with state utilities, PSU power plants or other major industrial customers.
