Responsibilities of a Safety Trainer

- Conduct Safety Training – Deliver induction, refresher, toolbox talks, and specialized safety training to employees and workers.

- Safety Induction – Conduct safety induction for new employees, contractors, and visitors before they enter the worksite.

- Toolbox Talks – Conduct regular toolbox talks on job-specific hazards, secure work practices, PPE, and emergency procedures.

- Identify Training Needs – Assess employees' training requirements based on job roles, site hazards, incidents, and safety observations.

- Develop Training Material – Prepare presentations, training modules, demonstrations, posters, and other safety-learning materials.

- Practical Demonstrations – Conduct practical demonstrations on PPE, firefighting, work-at-height safety, lifting operations, confined space, emergency response, etc.

- Evaluate Training Effectiveness – Conduct quizzes, assessments, feedback sessions, and practical evaluations to measure understanding.

- Maintain Training Records – Maintain attendance sheets, training records, competency assessments, certificates, and monthly training reports.

- Promote Safety Awareness – Conduct safety campaigns,



awareness programs, safety days, competitions, and other initiatives to improve safety culture.

- Coordinate with HSE Team – Work closely with Safety Officers, Supervisors, Project Managers, and management to address training gaps and improve workplace safety.

- Incident-Based Training – Review accidents, near misses, and unsafe acts and conduct targeted training to prevent recurrence.

- Compliance with Standards – Ensure training content is aligned with applicable legal requirements, company procedures, client requirements, and relevant HSE standards.

- Emergency Preparedness Training – Train employees on emergency response, evacuation procedures, first aid, fire safety, and emergency drills.

- Site Safety Observations – Participate in site inspections and identify unsafe practices that require corrective training or awareness.

- Continuous Improvement – Regularly update training programs based on changes in work activities, risks, incidents, legislation, and industry best practices.

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹48,000.00 per month
