Position: Safety Officer

Experience: 2–5 Years

Qualification: Diploma / Degree in Safety, Industrial Safety, or relevant field

Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and proactive Safety Officer to ensure a safe working environment at project/site locations. The candidate will be responsible for implementing safety procedures, conducting inspections, identifying hazards, and ensuring compliance with applicable safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct regular site safety inspections and identify potential hazards and risks.
- Ensure compliance with safety rules, procedures, and statutory requirements.
- Monitor the use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) at site.
- Conduct toolbox talks, safety training, and awareness sessions for employees and workers.
- Prepare and maintain daily/weekly safety reports and inspection records.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-miss cases and prepare reports.
- Ensure proper implementation of Work Permit, Risk Assessment, and Method Statement procedures.
- Coordinate with project/site teams to resolve safety-related issues.
- Monitor housekeeping, electrical safety, fire safety, working at height,



and other site safety requirements.
- Conduct emergency preparedness and fire safety drills when required.
- Maintain safety documentation, checklists, and compliance records.
- Ensure contractors and workers follow site-specific safety requirements.
- Report unsafe practices or conditions to the concerned management and ensure corrective action.

Required Skills
- Good knowledge of Industrial & Construction Safety practices.
- Knowledge of PPE, Risk Assessment, Work Permits, and Safety Procedures.
- Strong observation and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to prepare safety reports and documentation.
- Willingness to work at project/site locations.

Preferred Certifications
- NEBOSH / IOSH / ADIS / DIS or equivalent safety certification will be an advantage.
- First Aid and Fire Safety training/certification will be preferred.

Candidate Profile The ideal candidate should be responsible, disciplined, alert, and capable of enforcing safety standards while maintaining positive coordination with workers, contractors, and project teams. Pay: ₹10,638.82 - ₹25,000.00 per month
