Role & responsibilities

- Ensure compliance with all statutory safety regulations, including the Factories Act and other
- applicable EHS guidelines.

- Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments across the manufacturing plant.

- Identify workplace hazards and implement preventive and corrective measures.

- Organize safety training, induction programs, toolbox talks, and awareness sessions for employees
- and contractors.

- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, prepare reports, and recommend corrective
- actions.

- Monitor the proper usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and ensure adherence to safety
- protocols.

- Coordinate emergency preparedness activities, including mock drills, fire safety inspections, and
- evacuation procedures.

- Maintain statutory registers, safety records, permits, and documentation as per regulatory
- requirements.





- Liaise with government authorities during inspections and ensure timely statutory compliance.

- Promote a strong safety culture by driving EHS initiatives and continuous improvement programs.

Preferred candidate profile

- Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety (ADIS) Mandatory.

- Solid knowledge of industrial safety standards, hazard identification, and risk assessment.

- Good understanding of manufacturing safety practices, permit-to-work systems, fire safety, and emergency response.

- Familiarity with statutory compliance under the Factories Act, OSHA principles, and EHS regulations.

- Proficiency in MS Office for preparing reports and maintaining safety documentation.

- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
