Key Responsibilities:

- Implement API validation, business logic, error handling, persistence, caching, messaging, and downstream service integrations.
- Integrate AWS services using the AWS SDK for Rust.
- Work with S3, SQS/SNS, EventBridge, DynamoDB, RDS/Aurora and Secrets Manager.
- Develop container-ready applications for AWS EKS/ECS/Fargate.
- Implement structured logging, metrics, distributed tracing, and correlation IDs using tracing, OpenTelemetry, CloudWatch and AWS X-Ray.
- Write unit, integration, API/contract, and component-level tests.
- Follow coding standards using rustfmt, Clippy, Cargo test, and dependency/security scanning.
- Design and develop scalable REST/gRPC microservices using Rust.
- Work with Tokio, Axum/Actix Web, Serde and Cargo.
- Troubleshoot application performance issues involving CPU, memory, latency, I/O, networking, and async contention.
- Use Criterion.rs, flamegraphs and profiling/performance tools where applicable.
- Implement health checks, readiness checks, graceful shutdown, configuration management, and resilient service patterns.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, production support, RCA, and continuous improvement.
