We are looking for a Ruby on Rails Software Engineer to work on an ERP migration and multi-platform integration project for a US-based building technology client. The role involves enhancing and maintaining an existing production Ruby on Rails application and developing integrations with third-party platforms.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain Ruby on Rails applications in an existing production codebase.

- Build and maintain REST/XML API integrations.

- Develop, test, and deploy high-quality software.

- Work with relational databases and SQL.

- Write automated/unit tests using RSpec or equivalent.

- Troubleshoot, refactor, and safely modify existing code.

- Collaborate with the development team to solve technical challenges.

Required Skills

- Bachelors degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or related field.





- Strong Ruby on Rails development experience.

- Object-Oriented Design and Development.

- Robust SQL and relational database knowledge.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

- Knowledge of C/C++, C#, Java, Go, or TypeScript.

- Experience with Sidekiq/ActiveJob, PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, or Redis.

- Knowledge of AWS/Azure, ERP/CRM integrations, data migration/ETL, and Capistrano.

- Understanding of TDD, BDD, software design patterns, refactoring, and performance/concurrency testing.

- Familiarity with Linux, Windows, and macOS.

- Knowledge of HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS3.
